No seat adjustment with PPP as yet: Shujaat

LAHORE – Claiming NA-105 (Gujrat) as their ancestral seat, PML-Q chief, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said seat adjustment with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has not been finalised as yet.
He made these remarks while talking to media persons at the residence of City chapter president Yusuf Ahad after offering Fateha over the demise of Yusuf’s father, Ahad Malik, here on Sunday.
PML-Q Punjab president, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, secretary general, Mushahid Hussain Sayed and Moonis Elahi were also present on the occasion.
To a question about taking back the members of defunct Likeminded into PML-Q ranks, he said the Likeminded (Hamkhayal) should first come out of the shock they received from the PML-N, adding, “What you sow, so shall you reap”.
Shujaat said, “PML-N is trying to award tickets to all its potential candidates, which is not possible.
The PML-N fears that those who will be left out of the ticket race will part ways with the party”.
Pervaiz Elahi on this occasion once again demanded that entire bureaucracy of the Punjab should be replaced with fresh administration to ensure fair and free conduct of the general elections.
He added that the caretaker chief minister had held talks with election commissioner over new bureaucracy in Punjab and he should be given time to accomplish the task.
