PAT not to join PTI’s Raiwind march: Qadri

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri Saturday announced that his party would not become part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) march to Raiwind.

“I have decided that we will not encircle anyone’s residence as attacking the houses is a tradition of Sharif brothers,” Qadri said while addressing a press conference.

Tahir-ul-Qadri also accused the government of creating another Model Town like situation as he declared that Punjab Police would not be allowed for search operation in Awami Tehreek Secretariat. However, he agreed that rangers, MI, ISI, police and media should check out the premises together.

PAT leader also showed visas to the media that were issued to the Indians in his press conference. He announced that all those Indians were not declared as employees in the record.

Tahir-ul-Qadri claimed that neither he met nor praised Modi.
