520,000 kids to be administered polio vaccine




 
RAWALPINDI (Online) - City District government is all set to administer anti-polio vaccine among 520,000 children during a five days anti-polio drive starting from June 4.
The arrangements have been finalised in this regard as 52 polio centres has been set up in different rural health centre of the district while the government has deployed 1,360 mobile teams to administer anti polio vaccine, the drive would continue for five days.
A meeting was held in the DCO office headed by EDO Finance and Planning, Mattiullah Khan to review all the arrangements made by the government for the anti-polio drive, while the EDO Health and others representative of the Health Department also participated in the meeting.
