SIALKOT - Leather exports from Pakistan declined by 19 per cent during the last fiscal year 2009-2010, says Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association. Addressing an important meeting here, Central Chairman Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association Ch Ahmad Zulfiqar Hayyat said the graph of these exports was showing continuous decline. He alleged that the incumbent government had miserably failed to ensure the implementation of Trade Policy announced during the last fiscal year. He pointed out that the government has not yet released prolonged promised Rs58 million special grant for the development of the leather sector.
