LOS ANGLELES: Christian Bale could be set to play Steve Jobs on the big screen. Filmmaker David Fincher has been in negotiations about directing a movie about the late Apple co-founder, and The Wrap has reported that Batman star Christian is his first choice for the lead role. Fincher apparently told Sony during a meeting that he would only take the reins if Christian was cast as Jobs. However, the American Hustle actor has yet to be offered the part in the as-yet-untitled biopic so it isn’t known whether he would sign up. The film was written by Aaron Sorkin.–BT
