MARDAN Unidentified gunmen opened fire on ex-MPA and President Anjuman-e-Khastkaran (AK) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Saed Rehman Mahmond, killing him on the spot. Sources informed this scribe that on Wednesday early in the morning, Saed Rehman Mahmond was coming from his village Charbanda to Mardan. On the way few meters away from his house, three unidentified armed men, who had covered their faces with cloths, stopped him, snatched mobile from his driver and took the driver out of the car, while started firing on Saed in the motor car. As a result, Saed Rehman succumbed to his injuries and died on the spot. Meanwhile Namaz-e-Janaza of Saed Rehman Mahmond were offered at his village Shandahy Charbanda. A large number of people from the area attended his funeral prayer. He was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard amid thousands of people mourning his death. His Qul would be offered on Friday at Shandahy Charbanda Par Hoti Mardan.
