Govt reshuffles federal bureaucrats

Sohail Rajput made Sindh chief secy; Fawad Hasan picked as SAPM

ISLAMABAD   -   The federal government yesterday carried out a reshuffle in the federal bureaucracy and approved new high level appointments.


Ahad Cheema, a BPS-19 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been appointed as joint secretary PM Office. He was OSD in the Establishment Division. Sohail Rajput, an officer of BPS-22 of PAS, has been posted as chief secretary Sindh. He was earlier serving as federal secretary IT and Telecom Division in Islamabad.


Fawad Hasan Fawad, who served in the previous PML-N government of Nawaz Sharif as principal secretary, has been appointed as special assistant to PM on Establishment Division. He has been retired from service. Imdad Ullah Bosal, an officer of BPS-21, is being considered as chief secretary Punjab and his appointment would be announced this week. Fakhar Sultan Raja, an officer of Pakistan Police Service in BPS-20, is being considered as new police chief of Islamabad and his appointment would also be announced this week.
