ISLAMABAD - Sarfraz Merchant, a donor of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), has agreed to record his statement with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in connection with the allegations of money laundering against MQM leadership. He assured to visit Pakistan and record his statement after FIA Director Islamabad Inam Ghani again contacted him and alleviated his reservations with regard to a summons earlier issued to him, the interior ministry sources informed. Merchant had showed reservations over the language of summon handed over to him through Pakistan HC in London.
