Tarar family, supporters join Tehreek-e-Insaf

MANDI BAHAUDDIN - With the popularity graph of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf elevating continuously, other parties have been virtually rapped on their knuckles. The situation is no different in Mandi Bahauddin, where the Tarar familys joining of the emerging political force has caused a commotion among the political circles. Former PPP district president Muhammad Zafarullah Tarar, who won from the constituency of NA-108 twice, his younger brother, ex-MPA Munawar Tarar, and hundreds of their supporters have joined the PTI after saying goodbye to the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid. Zafarullah and Munawar, sons of late Ghulam Rasul Tarar, had earlier left the PPP to join the PML-Q. The Tarar family had been politically active for the past many decades when Ghulam Rasul Tarar served as the MLA in the area.
