Supreme Court to hear petitions regarding two judges cases

A 14-member larger bench of Supreme Court (SC) will hear pleas and petitions regarding appeals filed by two judges from Thursday (today). Federal government filed two separate pleas for seeking extension in jobs of two judges justice Pir Ali Shah and Arshad Anwar as additional judges against the verdict of five-member bench of Sindh High Court (SHC), sources said. Due to SHC ruling, two judges were reverted to posts of additional district and session judges, sources added.
