KARACHI- Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) on Sunday organized party elections for the year 2012 in Lal Qila Ground Azizabad. A large number of office-bearers and workers of the party exercised their right to vote at various tiers of the party including the co-ordination committee, sectors, units, zones and district committees.An election commission was set up for holding the elections. Polling booths were setup in order to facilitate the voting. Polling started at 9 am in the morning and continued till 5 pm in the evening. MNAs, MPAs, office-bearers of various wings of the Muttahida Quami Movement and members of different resident committees were present on the occasion.
