Wah wah... Wah college rolls out more docs!

WAH CANTT - A colourful function of 4th convocation of Wah Medical College was held on Saturday in which MBBS Degrees among more than 75 graduates were awarded.
Chairman POF Board Lt Gen. Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood HI(M) was the chief guest on this occasion. Besides students, a large number of parents also participated. Dr Zaina Jabeen was awarded best graduate award for 2007-12 session. Chairman POF Board announced a cash award of Rs5 lac for the best graduate and offered her employment in POF Hospital. Moreover, Dr Zaina Jabeen achieved 8 medals during her academic career in Wah Medical College and University of Health Sciences.
The function commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran. Principal Wah Medical College Maj Gen. (Retd) Ziaullah Khan presented the annual report of the college. Principal told that the best results of the college indicate the hard work of the students, sincerity of faculty staff and contribution of parents in this success. Principal specially mentioned the hard work of students, parents and sincerity of faculty staff he felicitated the successful students and their parents and expressed his best wishes for them. 
Vice Chancellor of the University of Health and Sciences Major General (Retd) Dr Muhammad Aslam also gave away degrees among the successful students and while addressing he remarked that the University of Health Sciences was considered the best institutions in Asia and Wah Medical College is also affiliated with this university and this institution holds prominent status among other institutions of Pakistan.
Chief Guest of the ceremony Lt Gen. Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood HI(M), Chairman POF Board while addressing on this occasion, remarked that it was a matter immense pleasure and honour for him to participate in this convocation, POF Chairman congratulated all successful graduate doctors and stressed upon them that they would always stand by their oath which they have yet taken according to its true spirit and the service of Human Being should be considered as their prime responsibility.
Chairman remarked that where ever they would serve, they would be recognized as Ambassador of Wah Medical College and they would have to display the exemplary character and sincerity in the society.
Chairman POF Board advised the students that they should make it a habit to recite the Holy Qurran daily for their spiritual guidance and try their utmost to understand and follow it in their practical life, no doubt, the success would be their fate. It is worth mentioning that the ratio of female students in the position holders was more than male students.
