SUKKUR- Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan said that the federal government had legal rights to try against former president Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the Constitution.

Talking to journalists today, the PPP leader said no one invited Musharraf to come back, he came on his own and disgraced himself. Aitzaz Ahsan said, after the 18th Amendment, Article 6 has become stronger. To a question, he said “We have no objection on treason case.” He added court can issue an order to remove Musharraf’s name from Exit Control List (ECL).
