Punjab names Attock Daanish School after Malala

OKARA - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that attack on Malala Yousafzai is an attack on the whole nation. He prayed Allah Almighty for early recovery of Malala. The CM said that he had met the father of Malala Yousafzai in Rawalpindi hospital to inquire after daughter of the nation. He expressed his hope that with the blessings of Allah Almighty and prayers of the nation, daughter of the nation would recover soon. Shahbaz Sharif announced that the Punjab government had named Attock Daanish School after Malalah Yousafzai in recognition of her services and seats would be reserved in the name of Malalah Yousafzai for girl students of Swat in the school.
Talking to media representatives during his visit to Okara, the Punjab CM said that the people would reject thieves and looters in the coming general elections and, with the blessing of Allah Almighty, the PML-N would form the next government in the country. He said that the possibility of political alliance, before the next general elections, could not be ruled out and PML-N can also form an electoral alliance with the other parities. Shahbaz Sharif said that the gang of Ali and his cohorts had wasted time of the nation through their conspiracies.
The CM said that the country had been pushed into darkness, industry and agriculture had been destroyed while national institutions had been made bankrupt. He termed the Accountability Bill as a tool to protect corruption rather eliminate the menace and vowed to opposed it every forum. The Punjab CM claimed that had Nawaz Sharif not played a leading role, uncontroversial personality like Fakharuddin G Ibrahim would not be made CEC.
During his visit to Okara, Shahbaz Sharif paid surprise visit to DHQ Hospital and expressed annoyance over insufficient arrangements. He directed the hospital administration to take immediate measures to provide facilities to the patients. The chief minister also took notice of action against students who took out a rally in favour of Malala and directed that FIR against the students should immediately be withdrawn along with restoration of students rusticated from the college. Earlier, Shahbaz paid a short visit to Okara and offered condolence over the death of wife of Mian M Zaman Senior PML-N leader and mother of MPA Mian M Yawar Zaman at their residence. He prayed Allah Almighty for the peace and rest of the departed soul.  Later, CM Shahbaz went to the residence of PML-N MPA Mian Moin Wattoo at Mauza Jamal Kot of Tehsil Depalpur and condoled over the sad demise of his brother and offered fateha. The CM was accompanied by Provincial Minister Ch. Abdul Ghafoor, MPAs Ali Abbas Khokhar, Javed Allauddin, Ch Nadeem Abbas Rabairah and Mian Muhammad Munir.
