SWAT – Swat National Jirga held a peaceful demonstration at Nishat Chowk on Saturday to condemn attack on Malala Yousufzai and her fellow students. They chanted slogans against the tragic incident and paid homage to the brave girl. They also prayed for the early recovery of Malala Yousufzai, Shazia and Kainat.
Meanwhile, DSP of the city said that 70 suspects were arrested and investigation was under way from them. Investigation Officer of Malala attack case Sher Zada Khan said search operations were under way in the nearby areas of the main spot, adding that the adjoining areas of Landikas and Gulkada were searched out. He said a search operation was also conducted in Takhtaband area.
