Pakistan objectives still unrealised

Our Staff Reporter SAHIWAL - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf South Punjab Vice President Ijaz Ahmad Ch has said that Pakistan was established for certain objectives which remained unaccomplished and unrealised to day. He said that the present Pakistan is not elucidation of Quaid-e-Azams dreams. Quaid dreamt a justice-based society as justice was rare and was not dispensed in India, especially for Muslims. He was addressing as chief guest at the 15th foundation day of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) here the other day. The function was presided over PTI Divisional Organiser Imran Idrees Ch. Ijaz Ch further said that the people who knew the fact at that time that they would not be part of the newly established Pakistan, rendered invaluable sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan. He claimed that plunderers and corrupt rulers had held the government hostage and had made political dynasties to perpetuate their ruler and stake in the powers. The country needs such political parties who can come up to the expectations of the down-trodden people and ensure their rights, he pointed out, adding that that both the mainstream PPP and PML-N had utterly failed to solve the problems of the masses. Ch Ijaz claimed that every child of Pakistan is born under the burden of debt amounting to Rs70,000 ,which was Rs35,000 when the present government came into power three years ago. He said that the incumbent government is under foreign debts of 80 billion dollars which has been doubled over the last three years. Because of heavy debts we are living a life befitting a slave nation, the PTI leader explained. Ch Ijaz alleged that the leadership of both the PPP and PML-N were living lavish life. The annual security budget of Raiwind stands at more than Rs2 billion, he claimed. He said that Pakistan was once called grain basket but because of the wrong and anti-agriculture policies of the successive governments had made the country beggars and dependent on foreign aid. He said that the PTI would establish a society-based on equality and would get rid of imperialistic and exploitive system of government. The PTI leader maintained that society had plunged into darkness and PTI Chief Imran khan is the only bacon of light in the prevailing circumstances who wants to create a merit and justice based society. Speaking on the occasion, PTI Punjab General Secretary Dr Yasmeen Rashid said that the rulers were befooling the nation to please their foreign masters. She said that her Chief Imran Khan is the only leader who does not comply the orders of America. She said that the PTI would ensure justice and rights of the common man and would develop Pakistan to the extent that people from would come to Pakistan for job. She claimed that the PTI would come into power it would make payment of taxes compulsory. Earlier, PTI District Organiser Shakeel Khan Niazi presented welcome address. Divisional Organiser Ch Imran Iddrees, Divisional Secretary Information Ahmad Qayyum and District Information Secretary Syed Rizwan Shah also address the function. The PTI Sahiwal District General Secretary conducted the function while a large number of notable including representatives of civil society, lawyers, doctors and traders participated in the function.
