ANP can’t befool masses by hollow slogans: PTI

PESHAWAR - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, former provincial president Asad Qaiser said on Tuesday that the announcement of KPK Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti to establish a full-fledged university in Swabi was merely an empty slogan to befool people prior to the elections.
“How can a university be established in Swabi, if there is nothing on ground - no land and no funding,” he said, adding that it was merely an election ploy to deceive people by pledging such huge commitments with ever-ignored district Swabi.
He said this while speaking at an Eid Milan Party held at Kota village in district Swabi. He said that people of the area could not be cheated by such slogans anymore.
He questioned that if the ANP provincial government was too much sincere with people of district Swabi, then why did not it launch a major developmental project like hospital, university, playground or provision of Sui gas in the last four-and-a-half years government in KPK.
Elections are now coming close, thus, the ANP interested to deceive people by making such huge empty slogans, however gone are the days when people could be deceived by such things, he said adding that people would give no weight to such statements by the Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti.
He claimed that if PTI came into power would ensure provision of suigas, playground and university, and hoped that the availability of these things would ensure progress and development in Swabi.
Asad Qaiser said that PTI would make a clean sweep in coming elections and the ANP would face a huge defeat in the province and Swabi as well. He said that PTI has a huge program for changing fortunes of the people of the province, he concluded.
