ISLAMABAD – Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Syed Zaheerul Islam has said that sports activities play vital role in strengthening healthy and prosperous society. He visited head office of Malik Saad Shaheed Sports Trust (MSSST) on Friday along with MSSST Board of Trustees (BoT) Syed Ali Nawaz, Dr Zakir Shah and Imtiaz Ali. Zaheer witnessed the pictorial gallery of the trust and showed keen interest in preparing documentary on the trust’s activities and achievements. He also lauded its efforts and offered his all-out support to them. He said that youth of KPK only required proper training and attention especially in the field of sports and they could become good players. He quoted various examples in this regard and said only due to shortage of facilities and patronage they are were giving satisfactory results, but he was confident that now MSSST was doing great job by helping Khyber Pakhtunkhwa deserving players and organising result oriented activities. –Staff Reporter
