LAHORE - The first Drag Car Rally of the country will throttle off at Walton Airport on May 17 here. In all 70 cars will feature in the race, said an official of the organizing company Top gear Aamer Malik. He said that during the event classic cars and motorcycle stunts will also be shown and the events will be displayed on big screens, which will also project different programmes on motor racing. He further said that the main purpose is to provide the general public a little entertainment in hour of tension. The participating cars has been divided into six categories and the civil aviation and city government is collaborating in the holding of the rally, he said and added that soon an international motor racing event will be held in Pakistan to show case the country.
