LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to launch operation against two stroke rickshaws/motorcycle rickshaws within two weeks.
The decision was taken at a meeting held yesterday with Minister Environmental Protection Zakia Shahnawz in the chair.
Secretary Environment Dr Iqbal Muhammad Chauhan, Director Naseem-ur-Rehman Shah, Toqeer Qureshi, Wasim Cheema, officers of Traffic Police, Transport, Lahore Transport Company and Excise and Taxation attended the meeting. The meeting decided to launch operation against noise generating vehicles and use of pressure horns.–Staff Reporter
