ISLAMABAD : Italy High Commissioner Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani called on Federal Minister of Water and Power, Khaja Muhammad Asif on Tuesday at Islamabad and discussed the matter pertaining to energy sector. The Federal Minister said that Pakistan and Italy enjoy good relations and they would continue to maintain this relationship. He further mentioned in the meeting the key steps taken by government of Pakistan to overcome prevailing energy crisis and express his resolve that present government would soon control this crisis by enhancing power generation to the system. He further said that his government gives top priority to energy sector.
Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani appreciated the efforts of present government in this regard and said that Italian investors would be encouraged to invest in Pakistan in energy sector.
