The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani conferred military awards to the Army personnel in an investiture ceremony held at General Headquarters Friday. According to Spokesman Pakistan army, a large number of senior military officials and relatives of awardees attended the ceremony. 93 officers were awarded SITARA-I-IMTIAZ (Military), 1 Officer was awarded TAMGHA-I-IMTIAZ. 1 Officer and 6 Soldiers were awarded United Nations (UN) Medal.
