Shahbaz meets Gen Raheel again

ISLAMABAD - In a significant move in the wake of on-going political crisis in the country, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday, held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif in Rawalpindi.
According to sources, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif discussed the political situation and recent developments regarding agitation by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
The government and military leadership discussed the political situation specially the emerging demands of PTI and PAT.
During the hour long meeting both the leaders also discussed the security situation in the country alongwith issues related to the law and order.
Ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) also came under discussion.
Shahbaz Sharif reiterated his stance that the government would not entertain the unconstitutional demands of Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri who have demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's resignation.
Sources claimed that Army Chief General Raheel Sharif assured Shahbaz Sharif to play their Constitutional role and give full support to maintain law and order situation especially in the Capital.
COAS URGES OFFICERS TO ENSURE COUNTRY'S DEFENCE
General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), on Thursday urged the graduating young military officers to equip themselves both mentally and physically to ensure the defence of motherland in the face of a growingly complex threat environment.
Addressing the convocation ceremony of 125th PMA Long Course at NUST, the COAS advised them, "While leading your men into combat, as young officers you must also inspire them by your knowledge, character, courage and competence." 
According to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations(ISPR), the COAS awarded degrees to the graduating officers and congratulated them, their parents and faculty for the hard work they have put in to groom the future officers. Degree of Shaheed officer Lieutenant Nauman Raza was received by his father Squadron Leader (Retd) Shaukat Raza.
Earlier on arrival at the NUST, General Raheel Sharif was received by Lieutenant General Ikram Ul Haq, IGT&E and Lieutenant General (Retd) Muhammad Asghar Rector NUST.
