To avoid the chances of fleeing of prisoners to foreign countries who escaped from Bannu jail, the Khyber Pakhtunkhua (KPK) government has asked Federal government to place names of 200 missing prisoners in the Exit Control List (ECL).
The central government complying with decision of provincial government has made high security measures at airport, railway station and bus stands of Peshawar in order to arrest the fugitives.
It is pertinent to mention that almost 200 prisoners escaped when armed militants of Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) attacked Bannu jail and freed their associates.
