MULTAN (Staff Reporter):  Slain Allama Nasir Abbas was laid to rest amid tight security here at Dargah Shah Shams Tabraiz. His funeral was also offered inside Dargah. Heavy police contingent were deployed around the shrine while Bawa Safra Road was blocked on the occasion. The city remained tense, but no untoward incident took place. Earlier, relatives of the slain zakir gathered at Chungi No-9 and staged a protest, demanding arrest and execution of the killers. They staged a sit-in that lasted for nine hours.
