Online adds: The clash during which workers of both parties used sticks and pelted stones on each other took place during the polling for the by-election.
The clash was triggered after PML-N workers hurled accusations at PTI activists regarding the Judicial Commission’s report rejecting all three rigging allegations for the 2013 polls by Imran Khan's PTI. Gujranwala's constituency PP-100 is believed to be a strong PML-N bastion which was won by Rana Shamshad of the ruling party with a big margin in 2013 general polls.
