Rawalpindi - Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) has approved promotion of 435 EST and PST teachers of district Rawalpindi to next grade in line with chief minister Punjab 3-tier promotion formula.
As many as 325 EST teachers working in grade-14 at Rawalpindi schools have been promoted to grades 15 and 16 while 110 PST teachers have been promoted to BPS 12 and 14. Promotion has been granted to both male and female teachers. Notification in this regard will be issued within two weeks.
As per promotion orders, 50 male and 38 female teachers of EST general grade 14, 64 male and 11 female teachers of SV, 12 male and 6 female of AT, one male and seven female of PET, seven male and four female of English, two each male and female of OT, five male and one female of DM have been promoted to grade 15.
27 male and 25 female teachers of EST General, 36 male and 7 female of SV, four male and four female of AT. Six female of PET, two male and one female of English, one male and three female of OT and two males and three female teachers of OT have been promoted to grade-16.
14 Male and 40 female PST teachers have been promoted to grade-12 and 21 male and 35 female teachers have been promoted to grade-14.
