RAWALPINDI : Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has accorded approval to conduct grand survey of water stealing and encroachments and property tax evasion.  The survey will be carried out in collaboration with SPARCO. This survey will be completed within 3 months and five teams have been set up in this regard.  These teams will collect data from door to door.  RCB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Fahim Zafar had decided 3 months before to hold investigations into massive loss being inflicted on national exchequer due to water stealing, encroachments and tax evasion.

He sought assistance of SPARCO to accomplish this job.
The survey teams will conduct door to door visit and take photographs of garbage points, water connection  and commercial units. The teams will also distribute specified forms among the residents to collect mobile phone number, identity card number of owners of property and details of tenants. This all data will be computerized.
