The Election Commission on Sunday summoned 15 parliamentarians in the fake degree case. Three parliamentarians called by the Election Commission belonged to the National Assembly, one from the Balochistan Assembly and three from the Punjab Assembly. Among the 11 parliamentarians called from the Punjab Assembly, eight were women who had been elected on the reserved seats. Election Commission spokesman Afzal Khan told media persons that on October 21, seven other parliamentarians have been summoned while on October 25, nine more lawmakers have been called.
