LAHORE - A man shot his 17-year-old daughter dead allegedly for developing love-affair with a man in the limits of Ghalib Market police.
The resident of Bilal Park eloped with her boyfriend two days ago. As she came back home on Tuesday morning her father George Masih took out gun and killed her. The police have arrested the killer and are investigating. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy.
HIT TO DEATH: An unidentified rickshaw driver killed a security guard near Jinnah Hospital in Faisal Town area and fled away.
Police said that the rickshaw driver hit the man, later identified as Muhammad Azam, in the head with an iron rod after they exchanged harsh words over some dispute. The resident of Sargodha sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot.
The police have removed the body to the morgue for autopsy and are investigating with no arrest made yet.
