Nisar cautions Shahbaz on anti-Zardari statements

LAHORE - Senior PML-N leader Ch Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday said that Punjab Chief Minister should be careful while talking about the President of Pakistan.
At the residence of JI leader Liaqat Baloch where he had gone to condole the death of latter’s mother, Ch Nisar was asked to comment on the objectionable language Shahbaz Sharif has been using against the president in his statements. The opposition leader was of the view that one must take caution while saying anything about country’s president.
On loadshedding, Nisar told reporters that the Opposition would seek explanation from the government in Parliament on Monday (today). He threatened to lead a march on the Presidency if no action was taken to end power outages in the next 24 hours. Nisar questioned how the government managed to ensure 80 per cent supply of electricity on the days when there was some cricket match.
The PML-N leader believed that the government was creating problems for the people deliberately by keeping the issue of loadshedding alive. He rejected heavy taxation on petroleum products and called it a jagga tax.  To a question about PTI chief Imran Khan, Nisar said he was an expert in making deals (muk-muka) in the dark of night while contradictory statements were also the hallmark of his politics.  Responding to a question on bhatta (extortion of money), he asked how could those be expected of ending this culture who themselves had started this practice in the past.
