Actor Aijaz Aslam's father has passed away today in Karachi.

The actor's celebrity friends broke the news earlier in the day. 

Actor Adnan Siddiqui, who is a close friend of Aijaz Aslam announced the news, as he took to his Instagram to share his grief with fans.

"Saddened to inform you that our dear friend Aijaz Aslam’s father passed away a while ago. Keeping the family in our prayers. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah," stated Siddiqui.

Co-star Faysal Quraishi announced that the funeral prayers of the deceased will be held on Wednesday, December 2. 

The cause of the death has not been disclosed as of yet.
