Failing to reach the hospital on time due to the tense situation in Karachi, a woman had to deliver her baby in an auto rickshaw on Friday morning. The husband of Sadia, a resident of New Karachi, said they preferred staying at home till morning due to ongoing unrest in the city. As soon as the sun came out, they hired a rickshaw and left for the Civil Hospital, reported a private TV channel. However, they were too late to reach the hospital. As a result, Sadia delivered the baby in the rickshaw. Much to the relief of parents, the baby girl was born healthy, and both mother and child were shifted to the hospital.
