PTI to give heavy blow to ruling parties in next phase of polls

| Imran says will foil rigging bid by Punjab, Sindh rulers

SIALKOT - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan vowed to give a tough time to the PML-N, PPP and MQM in the upcoming third phase of local bodies elections being held in Punjab and Sindh on December 5.
“The PTI is in very strong position not only to win the LB elections but to knock out the PML-N in Punjab and the PPP and MQM in Sindh with the power of votes of the masses,” Imran Khan declared while addressing a big election rally in Sialkot city on Monday.
The PTI chairman vowed to foil every move aims at rigging the elections by the rulers in Punjab and Sindh. The party’s Punjab and Sialkot district leaderships were also present on the occasion.
Khan assured the youths to ensure the rule of law and make the country strong and stable by awakening the people against the corruption of the corrupt leaders. He emphasised that Pakistan is blessed with all natural resources and the PTI would introduce such a mechanism to utilise these treasure trove for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. He said that the PTI would devise policies to stop brain drain and use the talented youth for the country’s development through implementation of merit policy in every field.
The PTI chairman claimed that growing popularity of his party has put the PML-N, PPP and MQM in “hot water”. He said that the PTI now has become the biggest political force of the country which has been enjoying the complete support of the masses from Khyber to Gwadar.
He claimed that the masses are with the PTI, but the PML-N, PPP and MQM win the polls through “engineered rigging” in the first two phases.
He strongly criticized the PML-N and said that the entire government machinery is busy running election campaign of the party candidates in Punjab. He alleged that PML-N has planned multi-dimensional rigging for the third phase of the LB polls in Punjab, saying that the rulers cannot play any match “without the help of empire.”
Imran Khan alleged that the political leaders including Asif Ali Zardari and Altaf Hussain are directly and indirectly involved in dozens of corruption cases, “but they are living a luxurious life without any fear.” He charged that Pakistan cannot progress in the presence of such corrupt political leaders.
He said that prevailing corrupt system in the country is not allowing the merit system to grow, saying that the corrupt political leaders and their cohorts have deep roots and influence. Imran Khan reiterated his resolve to continue struggle against the corrupt system and corrupt leaders, saying that he would not leave the nation at the mercy of “corrupt politicians.”
He lauded the people of Sialkot, especially the exporters, for changing the socioeconomic fate of Sialkot, by ensuring completion of Sialkot city’s road infrastructure and establishing Sialkot international airport purely on self-help basis, setting a unique example for others to replicate it.
He said that the Sialkot people should be given chance to rule for the betterment of the masses, saying that people of Sialkot are much courageous, vibrant, talented and brave. He urged the people of Sialkot to come out on roads to change the fate of the country, saying that the youths are the power engine of the PTI.
