Members of the Sindh Medical College Alumni Association of Pakistan has congratulated all the medical students, teachers and staff of the Jinnah Sindh Medical University for the notification of affiliation of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), the National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (NICVD) and the National Institute of Child Health (NICH), to the Jinnah Sindh Medical University as teaching hospitals for training of under graduates & postgraduates.
Dr. S.M.Qaisar Sajjad, General Secretary Sindh Medical College Alumni Association & Founder Trustee, said that the doctors community is thankful to Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan, caretaker Chief Minister Justice (Retd) Zahid Kurban Alvi, Health Minister Sindh Dr. Junaid Ali Shah, Sindh Secretary Health Dr. Suresh Kumar, and Government of Sindh for issuing this notification which has ended the anxiety among the faculties, students of the Jinnah Sindh Medical University and their parents, who had been uncertain about the future of the university.
“Sindh Medical College Alumni Association of Pakistan, hopes that with this affiliation the quality of medical education and training of the University will improve and it will also help the poor patients attending at these hospitals.
It will also help to improve the facilities and up-gradation of the faculties. Alumni also appealed to all the stake-holders of the Jinnah Sindh Medical University to kindly put their best efforts to make this institution upto the international level.
We will work together keeping away our individual interests for the production of good quality of doctors, nurses, paramedics, physiotherapist and researchers through this university.”
