CM Parvez, Humayun Akhtar discuss political situation

LAHORE     -   Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi and PTI leader Humayun Akhtar Khan held a meeting at the chief minister’s office on Sunday. They discussed politi­cal situation and public welfare projects launched in Punjab. The chief minister said that the focus of his politics was to bring improvement in the con­dition of a common man. “Whenever the Almighty bestowed on me the position of chief minister, I always worked with noble intentions in order to give maximum relief to the impoverished people.” He maintained that the government was doing such works which the people will remember like his previous tenure. The CM further stated that stated he never indulged in vindictive politics like the PML-N and always set positive political tradi­tions. “Chairman PTI Imran Khan is the most pop­ular leader of Pakistan. We have sided with Imran Khan and will continue to support him in future also,” he added. He said that he always takes along the whole team instead of a one-man show. Hu­mayun Akhtar said that Parvez Elahi’s previous tenure was a period of record development in the history of Punjab. “Even now, you have taken splendid steps for the public welfare in a short span of time,” he added.
