Flame FC holds PTCL in friendly football

ISLAMABAD - Visiting Flame Football Academy (VFFA) Football Club (FC) team held PTCL Academy FC 2-2 in a friendly football match played here at Jinnah Stadium.
Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) deputy director facilities Agha Majed Ullah graced the occasion as chief guest. Deputy director hostels Malik Imtiaz Hussain, Islamabad Sports Welfare Association president Syed Sharafat Hussain Bokhari, secretary Rana Tanveer Javed, Shahid Siddique and others were also present on the occasion.
Flame FC took the lead in the 10th minute when Hammad was brought down in the shooting area, and the referee pointed at the spot. Hammad stepped forward and put the ball into the net. Flaming FC didn't have to wait long for the second goal, as Abdullah Anwar scored a beautiful field goal in the 25th minute to make it 2-0. PTCL Academy players never lost heart and kept on pilling pressure and their efforts bore fruit in the 30th minute, as Moin reduced the deficit to 2-1 at the end of the first half. PTCL Academy managed to square the things in the 50th minute, when Usman scored a solo goal and the match ended in 2-2 draw.
