Qadri to return in July

Lahore - Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has announced to come back to Pakistan in July 2014 to lead the movement which would bring a green-revolution in the country.
He was addressing the workers convention through video link from Canada held in connection with PAT silver jubilee celebration at party secretariat in Lahore on Sunday. Large number of activists belonging to Tehrik-e-Minhaj l Quran (TMQ) and its political outfit PAT were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Qadri said that the present corrupt system had to be changed. He said establishing a democratic council to serve the cause what he said the green-revolution.
Dr Qadri pledged to change the entire system and to empower the unprivileged and deprived classes in Pakistan. He said labourers, farmers and people with meager income would be part of policy making. Earlier on May 11, PAT chief had spelled the vision of change including some radical changes in Pakistan’s administrative system, judicial structure, political setup and economic reforms.
He said his revolution was aimed at breaking elite’s monopoly in the country who had been exploiting the majority in the name of fraudulent democracy. He said the change was inevitable and that would start materialising from his arrival in Pakistan in coming July.
