I am a resident of Tufail Road, Lahore Cantonment, close to the University of South Asia. The area was relatively peaceful until a few years back. Now this relative calm has been shattered by rowdy students of the said institution. They have started parking their cars improperly and haphazardly around the university (on green belts and in link lanes.) Link Lane Four is hit the worst by this nuisance. The students not only are destroying the greenery in the area but they also ‘hang around’ the area compromising the privacy of the residents.
I hope the DHA authority will take notice of this. The college should have proper parking for their students and tell them not to invade the residential area. I would also like to request the Station Commander Lahore and the Cantonment Executive Officer to please look into the matter and resolve it.
