Ahmed Mujtaba calls out Rajinder Singh for #PakVsIndia MMA fight

The year has started well for Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts with Muhammad Imran (Pakido Martial Arts) competing at a co-main event bout at ONE Championship for the first time putting up a commendable effort against Stefer Rahardian of Indonesia.

Most recently the Pakistan MMA fighter, Ahmed "Wolverine" Mujtaba called out India's Rajinder Singh Meena for a Pakistan vs India clash in the One Championship cage.

The Pakistani fighter Ahmed said that he has always his  eyes on a fight with Rajinder since the day he signed the contract with ONE Championship.

"I would like to request all my friends, supporters and all countryman to share this post and show support towards making this #PakistanvsIndia fight happen in ONE Championship. I hope this post can get 100,000 shares to spread awareness and gain support. I hope we can make this fight happen." Ahmed wrote on his Facebook page. 

Ahmed Mujtaba originally from Quetta, Balochistan holds 9-1 record which is best in Pakistan. 

Meanwhile, Rajinder recently beat a Chinese fighter at ONE Championship in Manila. He has over 15 fights under his belt and holds the SFL lightweight title.

When asked why he wants to take a more experienced Meena, Ahmed asserted that to fight an Indian opponent who is more experienced with greater achievements, motivates him.

"I will train harder than I ever have before and when I get my hands raised and when I will raise the green flag in front of a filled arena at ONE Championship for my country it will be the best feeling in the world," Wolverine stated.

He further said that he will always be thankful to ONE Championship and Mr Chatri Sityodtong for the support in his career.

Mr Chatri is the founding father of Asian MMA and he has provided the Asian fighters with a great platform to compete at..

Just late last year, Ahmed Mujtaba emerged out victorious in a bout against Li Kai Wen from China.
