KARACHI - Youm-e-Babul Islam was observed in the metropolis with religious zeal to follow the footprints of great Muslim conquerer Mohammad Bin Qasim for the supremacy of Islam and support of oppressed people.Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, Milli Yakjehti Council and other organisations in the metropolis had organised the meetings and seminars to mark the Youm-e-Babul Islam.Addressing the meetings and seminars held in the metropolis, the leaders of religious parties said that the Muhammad Bin Qasim was started Islamic preaching in the Sindh province adding that Sindh was the Gateway of Islam. They said that Muhammad Bin Qasim was a remarkable character of the history of Islam, who spread the message of Islam in the sub-continent.The leaders said that the Muslims of Myanmar are waiting for the leader like Muhammad Bin Qasim to protect them from Buddhist.They said that Islam is the religion of love, peace and tolerance adding that Muhammad Bin Qasim conquered the hearts of people of Sindh through his character and bring them out of the clutches of ages old brutal system.MPA INSPECTS ONGOING DEVELOPMENT WORK: Member Sindh Assembly Nishat Muhammad Zia Qadri on Monday directed the officials concerned to complete the ongoing CC flooring of lanes in the Shah Faisal Zone, District East, ahead of Eidul Fitr.The MPA said this while inspecting CC Flooring which is being executed in the lanes in Shah Faisal Colony no 3, UC-5, district East, said a statement.The MPA directed the departments concerned to expedite the pace of ongoing development works and ensure completion of the same within stipulated time.
