LAHORE -All-rounder Ibtisam Azhar excelled as Azhar Ali Cricket Academy thumped Model Town White Cricket Academy in a friendly fixture played here the other day. Azhar Ali Cricket Academy, batting first, posted 242/6 on the board in 35 overs. Ibtisam Azhar emerged as top scorer with excellent batting display as he hammered unbeaten 111 while Ali Dilshad smashed 80 runs and Soban Mustafa 25. Farhan bowled well and bagged 2-31 while Sameer and Ikhlaq got one wicket each. In reply, Model Town White Cricket Academy were bundled out for 120 runs in 30 overs. Only Shahwaz (26), Zain (25) and Gohar (15) could cross double figures. Salman Haroon and Ibtisam Azhar bowled brilliantly and clinched three wickets each. For his all-round performance, Ibtisam Azhar was named player of the match.
