SARGODHA -Two pedestrian dacoits looted huge amount of cash from the Katchery Bazaar branch of a private bank and gunned down one security and injured other two among a citizen within the city police area on Friday.
Two bandits entered into UBL branch situated in most congested area. They opened fire on security guards on offering resistance. Resultantly, one security guard namely Gull Hameed died on the spot while other security guard Riaz and a citizen identified as Asad Malik received bullet injuries.
Both robbers decamped with more than Rs7 million cash from the bank and managed to flee from the crime scene by foot and briskly vanished in adjoined street. Meanwhile, police and Rescue 1122 officials rushed there and launched interrogation.
