BNF protests 'search operation in Mashkay

QUETTA - The activists of Baloch National Front (BNF) on Sunday took out a rally and staged a demonstration in Mashkay town of Balochistan to protest against search operation and alleged torching of the houses by security forces. The rally, led by BNF leaders, started from a government high school in the town. After marching through various roads, the protesters reached at Martyrs Chowk. They were carrying placards and banners bearing different demands. They also shouted slogans against the security forces and the government. Addressing on the occasion, BNF leaders alleged that security forces carried out a search operation in Mashkay and set several houses on fire, including the houses of Lal Bakhsh Baloch and Amir Jan, in Gajjar area of Mashkay. They alleged that security forces also destroyed two shops owned by Ghulam Mustafa while a person was also injured by the security forces personnel. Condemning the alleged search operation, they claimed that security forces also tortured women and children and whisked away15 people. They vowed to continue their struggle for their just right. They demanded the humanitarian organisations play their role to get the atrocities against Balochs stop.
