FIA seals two firms

KARACHI - The Federal Investigation Agency on Thursday sealed the offices of two private firms allegedly involved in preparing fake documents. The FIA spokesperson said that they sealed the offices of M/S Ford's and Wigsmore Private Limited.
He said the companies were involved in various frauds and preparing fake ISO certificate which were later submitted and used by oil and ghee suppliers for obtaining contracts from the utility store corporation.
He further said that around 50 fake stamps, tens of cheque books of various banks, letter heads of federal ministers, fake bank statements, bank stamps and a laptop having fake ISO certificates were recovered from the offices, adding that an alleged CEO who claimed to be chartered accountant was also taken into custody for further questioning.
The FIA spokesperson claimed that the high ups of utility stores and big oil and ghee suppliers causing colossal loss to exchequer are expected to be exposed.
