Abbasi elected JKJCCI president unopposed

Renowned businessman Zulfiqar Abbasi was elected unopposed as President of Jammu & Kashmir Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry for next two-year, it was officially declared.
The 22-memebr JKJCCI general council, comprising Presidents of various Chambers of Commerce and Industry from across AJK and registered organisations of businessmen and cross-LoC traders, unanimously elected Zulfiqar Abbasi as JKJCCI President for next two-year”, a JKJCCI spokesperson told media here.
Zulfiqar Abbasi is the founding President of the JKJCCI, established in October 2008. Abbasi has replaced YV Sharma, hailing from Jammu. Earlier, Dr Mubeen Shah from Srinagar had been holding the top slot of the JKJCCI.
Later the newly-elected JKJCCI president, nominated Ms Shaheed Kausar Dar, Qazeem Khan and Khursheed Ahmed Mir as Vice Presidents of the chamber, Tanveer Queshi as General Secretary, Mubarik Awan as Chief Organiser, Basharat Mughal Secretary Information, Khawaja Abdul Aziz, Convener; Sardar Shahid Mehmood, Secretary Finance; Nadeem Abbasi and Nazir Bhatt appointed as Additional General Secretary.
