Issues in Sindh

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, is working hard for the wellbeing and betterment of the people. Despite his efforts, there are some sectors that are being ignored, and have proven to cause great distress to the public.

People in other parts of Sindh are forced to come to Karachi in order to seek medical assistance, and not everyone can afford to make that trip. There are no proper medical facilities even in district headquarters in interior Sindh.

In the last five months, 253 candidates were officially announced as suitable for the post of ASIs by the Sindh Public Service Commission, but all of them have been denied appointment letters. These posts, that were originally advertised in June 2011, still remain an uncertain affair.

I would like to request the Chief Minister and other relevant authorities to look into these issues as well and take appropriate measures.

SHAHJAN MUNEER,
