ISLAMABAD - The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani left for Kazakhstan on an official visit, a press release said Tuesday. He held separate meetings with the defence and foreign ministers of Kazakhstan. Wide range of issues of mutual interest on defence and security cooperation and steps towards strengthening the bonds between armed forces and the two nations were discussed, the press release added.
