GUJRANWALA: A woman who was burnt by husband expired during treatment on Tuesday. Police arrested the accused.

According to Police, some four days ago, accused Amir of Gujranwala, along with his parents and other family members set his wife on fire who got married with him two month earlier, for not brining motorcycle in dowry.

The adversely scorched woman hailing from district Pasrur remained in ICU at Jinnah Hospital Lahore where she breathed her last on Tuesday morning.

The police arrested the key accused Amir and after registering a case against other family members started the investigation.
