Change in ANP top slots unlikely

ISLAMABAD - Awami National Party is likely to retain most of the leaders holding top slots in the party in the upcoming party elections to be completed by November-end. ANP spokesman Senator Zahid Khan said that party would likely re-elect Asfandyar Wali Khan as party President in the elections to be held for the slot on November 30 as no other candidate was in the arena to contest against him. The party, which has recently competed its district-level elections across the country would hold the elections for provincial office-bearers on November 23 while the elections for the central leaders of the party would be held on November 30, Zahid Khan further informed TheNation.
